On the front page of this website, fill out the form under the question "Who is my Primary Contact Person" and you will get an email response from Lou Wischer within 24 hours with the person’s name, email and phone number.

How long of a lead time is best?
Approximately a 2 to 3 week time frame, so during that time you are able to promote your sale and invite family and friends to come and purchase their favorite Schwan’s food.

Is there a way to reserve products?
Contact your local Schwan"s representative and ask for the product reservation form. This should have the information on the top of the form — Organization Name, Place and Time of Sale filled in along with the date the reservation form is due with the fax number for it to go to.

How can I find out what items are available?
Ask the Schwan’s Representative for a catalog of products. Or, Visit schwans.com and enter in your zip code for the current products and pricing for your area.

What about the items that are showing as “on sale” on the website, will I get those discounts?
Yes, the items that are showing with a discount on the date of your sale will automatically have the discount applied.

What is the advantage of reserving products?
If the sale is going to be following a gathering the customer service manager can have your product bagged and tagged and ready for you, no need to wait in line. This will also help ensure that the Schwan’s representative will have the items you request .

What kinds of products are offered?
Schwan’s carries over 300 items ranging from entrees, appetizers, frozen fruits and vegetables, desserts and ice cream treats. There is certainly something to fit every eating occasion, flavor profile and nutritional need.

How can this be marketed?
Use the two templates under “Marketing Materials” and put these in organizational bulletins, websites, email to family and friends, make posters and promote and invite them to order.

How can the students be involved?
If possible, have the students at the event. The customers will appreciate their presence. The students can thank the customers and carry their merchandise to their vehicles for them.

How often can my organization do this?
Work out the logistics with the local Schwan’s contact person. This program can easily be done multiple times a year.

If I want to do this several times a year, do I need to fill out a contract for each date?
You will want to fill out a contract for each day that you are hosting an event. The Local Schwan’s representative will have this available for you.

What percent does my organization get?
Based on the dollar sales for the day, use the following matrix to determine the percent:

When should my organization expect payment?
A check for the donation amount will be mailed within 30 days of the conclusion of the event .
